WOOT! I’ve got my mojo back!
I’m pretty stoked. I did 20 miles of all types of workouts in December (run, bike, walk), 10 of which were running. So far in January, I have 29 miles, 19 of which are running and the number will continue to go up!
I’m also back on a 3 run/minimum 3 workouts per week training plan. This should help me get my mileage where it needs to be to stay on track for the Cherry Blossom 10 miles and the Frederick half marathon. I’m also trying to incorporate more cycling so I can build leg strength and a minimum of 15 minutes of activity per day. I know it’s supposed to be 30 minutes, but I don’t count all the walking I do in the office. I walk to people’s offices rather than using the intercom all of the day. I’m sure that equals more than 15 additional minutes per day.
The plan is to stick with it and improve.
