Recently InsideTracker posted about Daylight Savings Time (DST). It really is the bane of a lot of people’s existence, especially the Monday after the time change.
I don’t know why it is, but it seems that every year I have a race the morning DST happens. Yet it only seems to happen in the Spring when I lose an hour of sleep…not in the fall when I can sleep late. Not that I ever sleep before races, but that isn’t the point.
So I work up to an hour less sleep that usual for a Sunday and a 90 minute drive to the Breaking Barriers osbstacle race. I MC’ed and did the warm-up for the women’s race. Well I have to tell you that it was well worth the lack of sleep.
The women did great and I am so proud of them. I’ll include more about it in another post, but for now, check out this great post from InsideTracker.
